Repair Charging Connector

Before learning how to repair charging jack, it is very important for us to know that all the charging jacks of all the smartphones that come in the market are similar in appearance from outside but all the charging jacks are of different types from inside. All these charging jacks have different names like

V8, type c, v3, kg-800, m-600, vodafone, apple,
The most popular of these are the charging jacks v8 and TYPE -C ,

Although all charging jacks are of different types, but the formula to repair them is the same. The charging jack has a plus. We can ground the -VE point anywhere and the +VE supply is directed from the charging IC, if we need to know how to operate a multimeter

We have to find the +VE point and attach it to the plus point of the charging jack and attach the -VE point to the ground. 90% of the charging jack runs from these 2 points only, now the question arises that what is the work of the rest of the points made behind the charging jack. The rest of the points run on USB supply and fast charging.

If you do not attach the rest of the points, then there will be no fast charging and there will be no USB connector, OTG cable works only because of these points.

Now we have learned that how the charging jack works, now we will know how the charging jack is installed and removed. There are two ways to remove the charging jack, the first way is s.m.d. Another way is with the help of desoldring wire.

We will learn about both the methods one by one. To remove the CHARGING JECK, the motherboard has to be fixed in the PCB STAND. After that, whatever components or ices are installed around the charging jack, they have to be covered with something. After that a good quality paste has to be applied on the charging jack.

The air in S.M.D has to be kept low and by increasing the heat, air has to be slowly applied around the charging jack and with the help of tweezers, the charging jack has to be raised slowly.

After lifting the charging jack, let the motherboard cool down. When the MOTHERBOARD will cool down, take the MOTHERBOARD off the PCB stand and clean the prints with the help of an iron. You can also clean with the help of petrol, do not use thinner at this place.

Now we have to remove the old solder properly with the help of D-soldering wire so that the charging JECK can sit properly inside. After the place is cleared, the NEW JECK has to be put inside and shouldered again with the help of the shoulder, while doing the shoulder, we have to use the paste so that the shoulder is well applied.

First we have the points of the port on the side of the charging jack, we have to solder them, after that we have to attach the points of the supply. In this way, you can install the charging jack of any company very easily. But keep in mind that when you put on or take off the charging jack, there is a MIC around it, do not allow more HEAT to be installed on it.

If HEAT gets on it then the MIC may get damaged. If you take out the charging jack from the mother board without using a PCB stand, then the components on the other side of the charging jack can come off with something, so try to take off the charging jack using PCB STAND.

Now we know how the charging jack actually works inside the smartphone. The voltage that comes in our house is AC voltage, when we attach the charger to it, then that voltage gets converted into DC voltage with the help of the charger. The OUTPUT of CHARGER is 5 to 7 volts.

When we attach the charger wire to the mobile phone, it goes 5 volts directly to the IC installed in the motherboard of the mobile phone. The IC filters and reduces that voltage. After lowering it passes directly to the battery connector. The voltage from the battery connector goes to the battery, which charges the battery of our phone.
